Draft customer letters with AI. Keep the account numbers on your device.
Hushbridge swaps account, routing and card numbers for placeholders before you send the prompt, and puts them back in the reply.

The task
A dispute letter is a common first use of AI in finance. A customer was charged twice. Your case notes hold the account holder's name, the card, the account and sometimes an SSN. You want the AI to write a clear letter that confirms the refund.
Hushbridge reads those notes on your device first. It swaps each number for a placeholder such as [CREDIT_CARD_1] and shows you the result. The AI writes the letter around the placeholders. The real numbers return on your device when the reply comes back.
Checks, not guesses
Finance notes are full of long numbers, and most of them are harmless. Hushbridge uses the check built into each number to tell a real one from noise. Card numbers must pass the Luhn check. US routing numbers must pass the ABA checksum. IBANs must pass the mod-97 check and have the right length for their country. SSNs must follow Social Security structure rules. A bank account number is caught when it follows a label such as "account no."
Before and after
Fictional example
What you paste
Write a letter to Marisol Quintero confirming we reversed the duplicate charge. Card: 4111 1111 1111 1111 Checking account no. 000123456789, routing number 011000015 SSN 123-45-6789 IBAN GB82 WEST 1234 5698 7654 32
What the AI gets
Write a letter to [PERSON_1] confirming we reversed the duplicate charge. Card: [CREDIT_CARD_1] Checking account no. [BANK_ACCOUNT_1], routing number [ROUTING_NUMBER_1] SSN [SSN_1] IBAN [IBAN_1]
6 details swapped: 1 name, 1 card number, 1 bank account, 1 routing number, 1 SSN, 1 IBAN. When the reply comes back, the real values are restored on your device. Run with the finance profile. The card is a standard test number. All names, numbers and addresses are made up.
What you review before sending
Numbers with a known format are swapped. These parts of a finance note need your eyes.
- Amounts, balances and transaction dates. These stay as written.
- Account numbers with no label in front of them. A bare run of digits is left alone unless its format marks it.
- Merchant and employer names without an ending such as LLC, Inc. or Bank.
- Loan, policy and claim references in your own house format.
- Partial numbers such as "card ending 1111" alongside a name.
- Text you copied from statements or PDFs.
Limits
- Detection uses rules, checksums and name lists. It can miss a name that has no title, role or label next to it. A customer can still be identified from the story around the numbers.
- The extension does not scan attachments. Statements and spreadsheets you upload go to the chat site as they are.
- A chat site's page can read text while you type. Prepare sensitive notes in the free check and paste only the protected version.
- Addresses are found in US style only. National ID numbers outside the supported countries are caught only after an identity label. Non-Latin scripts are not covered.
- Review before sending stays necessary on every letter.
