About

Use AI for client work. Keep the details on your device.

Hushbridge swaps sensitive details for placeholders before your text goes to an AI tool, then puts them back in the reply.

What Hushbridge does

Client work often includes other people's details. Removing them by hand adds another task before AI can help. Hushbridge does that first pass on your device.

  1. Find

On your device, Hushbridge looks for names, identifiers, addresses, secrets and anything on your own "always protect" list.

  2. Replace and review

Each detected value is swapped for a placeholder such as [PERSON_1]. You see what will be shared before anything goes to the AI.

  3. Restore

When the answer comes back, the real values are put back on your device. The swap table stays on your device.

The free browser check sends no text to an AI model. Using reviewed protected text with an AI provider is a separate step. The security and data flow page shows what goes where for each part of the product.

Who operates Hushbridge

Hushbridge is operated by Harbor Software LLC, a Wyoming limited liability company. Faheem ud Din is the owner and manager of Harbor Software LLC.

Harbor Software LLC is the company named in the current privacy notice and terms of service. It is also the merchant for credit purchases. You can read both documents from the legal center.

From Tightlip to Hushbridge

Hushbridge is the new name for Tightlip.

During the move, sign-in, downloads, billing, documentation and support stay on tightlipai.com. You will see the Tightlip name there for now. The detection engine also keeps its internal package name, @tightlip/core.

How we describe the product

We describe what the software does and where data goes. We use plain capability language. We do not claim certifications. Harbor Software LLC is not a HIPAA business associate and signs no BAA.

Detection uses rules, checksums and name lists. It is useful, and it has known gaps:

  • Detection can miss names that have no context cue, such as a title, a role or a label.
  • Context can still identify a person, even when the name is replaced.
  • The browser extension does not scan attachments.
  • A chat site’s page can read text while you type it.

So review before you send stays necessary. Hushbridge reduces what reaches the AI. Your judgement decides what is safe to share.
